BEVAR 1000FRYD! (ENGLISH BELOW)

Vi har fået påbud fra kommunen om, at vi ikke længere må spille højt til koncerter - i praksis vil vi ikke længere kunne spille livemusik, hvilket er grundlaget for vores driftstøtte og eksistens.

Nabobygningen er opført med utilstrækkelig lydisolering, og under byggeriet advarede vi om, at det kunne føre til problemer, og det er nu gået i opfyldelse.

We have received a request from the municipality, stating that we can no longer play loud music at concerts - this means in practice that we can no longer play livemusic, which is the bedrock of our existence.

The neighboring apartments have bad sound isolation, which is something we warned about, when they constructed it.

Throughout the past 40 years, many people have had personal and shared experiences at 1000fryd!

We want to save 1000fryd, because it is full of history and it contributes greatly to the cultural life in Aalborg.

Lige har Pretty Girls Make Graves og Blood Brothers forladt huset inden The Chinese Stars ankommer. Melodiøst Postpunk eleer noiserock om man vil, dannet på halvdelen af det hedengangne Arab On Radar og 1/4 Six Finger Sattelite og en nyankommen uidentificerbar skikkelse, så der er lagt i ovnen til et brag af et show.

The Chinese Stars placerer sig et sted imellem Pretty Girls Make Graves melodiøse drive og Blood Brothers stemmeføring og guitarspil... Så hvis man var glad da man forlod 1000Fryd efter deres koncert i august har man en oplagt mulighed for at gentage succesen her. Og med i købet er svenske Alarma Man, som spiller instrumental postpunk.

"...From the ashes of Arab On Radar and Six Finger Satellite comes the The Chinese Stars. The name adopted from the "Chinese Star Epidemic" of the early 80s. An outbreak where every grade school kid in America was getting there hands on the dreadful weapon and terrorizing the psyche of the free world. The band features Richard Ivan Pelletier formerly of Six Finger Satellite, a band considered by most to be the "Founding Fathers of Chaos". It also features Craig Kureck & Eric Paul formerly of the band Arab on Radar. Craig Kureck, the former drummer of AOR who provided the unique pulse for one of the most innovative bands of the past decade, will be repeating his attack again in The Chinese Stars.
