BEVAR 1000FRYD! (ENGLISH BELOW)

SAVE 1000FRYD!

We have received a request from the municipality, stating that we can no longer play loud music at concerts - this means in practice that we can no longer play livemusic, which is the bedrock of our existence.

The neighboring apartments have bad sound isolation, which is something we warned about, when they constructed it.

There is a signature campaign here - https://www.skrivunder.net/bevar_1000fryd

Throughout the past 40 years, many people have had personal and shared experiences at 1000fryd!

We want to save 1000fryd, because it is full of history and it contributes greatly to the cultural life in Aalborg.

Debate: Anarchy in the Age of Global Revolt
OBS: Debatten finder sted i 1000Fryds biograf Peepshoppen * Anarchy in the Age of Global Revolt * Over the past few years, many places have witnessed sudden eruptions of protest in which everyone pours into the streets. This has taken many forms: anti-austerity protests in Europe, Occupy in the US and elsewhere, transportation protests in Brazil, the Gezi resistance in Turkey, the uprising in Bosnia, and most recently—and problematically—the nationalist revolution in Ukraine. But all of these have passed without solving the problems that gave rise to them. What limits have they reached, and what would it take to go beyond these limits? In this discussion, we will address the roles that policing, nationalism, and the rhetoric of democracy played in shutting down the possibility of real social change, and consider what anarchists could do to open up the horizon.
