Uniform formed in New York City in late 2013 when old friends Ben Greenberg (Hubble, The Men, Pygymy Shrews) and Michael Berdan (York Factory Complaint, Drunkdriver, Believer/Law) realized they lived on the same street. The music that Greenberg and Berdan conjure up under the Uniform moniker is immediate, aggressive, and even primal in form, but it plumbs untold depths. Berdan’s venomous voice mines deeply personal themes of resentment, regret, reflection and addiction over the hum of Greenberg’s almost impossibly disciplined guitar, bass synth, and drum machine lines. Greenberg uses the word “templatized” to describe their approach to writing songs for Uniform.

Uniform is releasing their third album, Wake in Fright, on Sacred Bones Records in january 2017, and is combining this with an american and european tour.

”Wake in Fright is Uniform fighting back, leaning more heavily towards their hardcore and metal heritage. Uniform couldn’t have predicted the future when they were making Wake in Fright but this is the kind of record we need now more than ever. They’re not more vicious by circumstance; their own uncoupling just happens to better reflect our future” - Andy O'Connor, Pitchfork.

Kold Front is a trio from Copenhagen who play post punk/dark wave. The sound is atmospheric and synth driven, and the lyrics in Danish, bringing the greyest dark wave of the 1980's into the 2010's. After a split LP and a short european tour with MOTH, Kold Front is now ready to take to the stage at 1000fryd.

Martin Pale has been a silent shadow on the Danish noise scene for the past 10 years, performing and releasing visceral sonic experiments under the moniker Barad-Dûr as well as numerous collaborations. Patience and monotony serve as the heart of his work. He approach noise with curiosity and immediacy, letting the sound collide, live and breathe on its own, rather than to be controlled and tamed.

In 2016 he released the tape Conjectures on Combinatorial Complexity, which serves as a documentation of the unpredictable nature of repetition, followed by the 2017-release Semantic Saturation; a 20-minute soundscape of vibrating metal.
