BEVAR 1000FRYD! (ENGLISH BELOW)

SAVE 1000FRYD!

We have received a request from the municipality, stating that we can no longer play loud music at concerts - this means in practice that we can no longer play livemusic, which is the bedrock of our existence.

The neighboring apartments have bad sound isolation, which is something we warned about, when they constructed it.

There is a signature campaign here - https://www.skrivunder.net/bevar_1000fryd

International Women's Day Movie Matineé, Café and Soup Kitchen
Annually on 8 March events are being held all over the world to inspire and celebrate women. We're gonna mark this day by showing the movie "Born in Flames", doing a soup kitchen, and playing sweet tunes in the bar. 2015 is also the 100 year anniversary for women's voting rights in Denmark.

Even after 100 years of voting we've still not reached equality. Women are getting paid less and men still dominate powerful positions, but do have a harder time when asking for maternity leave. If we're looking outside of the danish borders the inequality is easier to see. Lots of women across the world are not allowed to make their own life and body decisions and their human rights are offended.

We're inviting everyone to debate the inequality we face today. We can't wait to see you :)

MOVIE: BORN IN FLAMES:

Born in Flames is a 1983 documentary-style feminist science fiction film by Lizzie Borden that explores racism, classism, sexism and heterosexism in an alternative United States socialist democracy.

Set ten years after the most peaceful revolution in United States history, a revolution in which a socialist government gains power, this films presents a dystopia in which the issues of many progressive groups - minorities, liberals, gay rights organizations, feminists - are ostensibly dealt with by the government, and yet there are still problems with jobs, with gender issues, with governmental preference and violence. In New York City, in this future time, a group of women decide to organize and mobilize, to take the revolution farther than any man - and many women - ever imagined in their lifetimes.
