has the gleam and cheerfulness of boldly feminine ‘60s girl groups with its powerpop meets lo-fi garage sound.
Peach Kelli Pop is a DIY power-pop project from California-via-Canada songwriter Allie Hanlon, who also plays the drums for a similarly scrappy garage rock outfit, the White Wires. While it’s indebted heavily to well-traveled genres (plinky surf rock, pop punk), Peach Kelli Pop’s music has the light touch and exuberance that characterizes the finest examples of those categories. Best of all is Hanlon’s voice, sweet yet detached like the fading flavor of a watermelon Jolly Rancher long crunched and swallowed.
Peach Kelli Pop has an insanely catchy, lo-fi sound with an edge just below its surface. Distorted electric guitar lines punctuated by punchy drums sit above high-pitched harmonies and a hook you will be singing for the rest of the day.

Orcas er tydeligt inspireret af 60'er beat og består af ingen ringere end Magnus Knudsen (fra De Høje Hæle, Dig og Mig, Myreskær m. fl.) og Oscar Lundsteen (fra Danghera m. fl.), som tillige også er brødre. De har også kærligheden til de sidste ca. 100 års rockhistorie tilfælles; fra støvet deltablues til elektrificeret r'n'b og kæk, hvid rock'n'roll; over atlanten, til London og Liverpool, udi en garage i en forstad til en større dansk provinsby og tilbage til playboy mansions bonede gulve.
Orcas er lyden af et steady rockbeat fra en gulvtam, en træbas og et pumpende orgel der blander sig og går i eet med en frydefuld vokalharmoni og en indebrændt guitarsolo og man ved snart ikke, om man skal grine eller græde eller råbe pigtråd og skrige. Orcas er kommet for at tage dig med ud at danse hvor du ikke kan bunde.
