BEVAR 1000FRYD! (ENGLISH BELOW)

SAVE 1000FRYD!

We have received a request from the municipality, stating that we can no longer play loud music at concerts - this means in practice that we can no longer play livemusic, which is the bedrock of our existence.

The neighboring apartments have bad sound isolation, which is something we warned about, when they constructed it.

Forsalgsbillet: Tryk her!

Sales is an American guitar-based dreamy pop band from Orlando, Florida. The duo is a collaboration between long-time friends, Lauren Morgan (guitar/vocals) and Jordan Shih (guitar/programming).

In July 2014, the band was named "Ones to Watch" for the second half of 2014 by The Hype Machine for being one the most blogged artists yet to release a long play album.

Sales has been recording together on and off for years, eating an abundance of Thai food, and dreaming of tennis - but never really going the distance to the court. Instead, they have remained dedicated to their musical project, which has been described as minimalist guitar pop. SALES consists of vocal & instrumental improvisation, sampling, a lil’ bit of chopping & screwing, and of course, friendship.

On January 31, 2014, the first day of the Chinese New Year, the band released their second single titled “chinese new year.” The band subsequently received positive acclaim from music blogs, including CMJ, Stereogum, and Pigeons and Planes. CMJ described the track as a "...sandy, sashaying tune with singer Lauren Morgan’s slightly cooing vocals skipping over upbeat guitars and a little synthy buzz. At least the Year Of The Horse is sounding pretty good so far.”

On September 16, the band announced the release of their debut EP, along with a remix by fellow Orlando musician XXYYXX. They released their EP, along with a new track titled 'getting it on' on September 22, 2014. And now they are hitting Europe on a month long tour.
