BEVAR 1000FRYD! (ENGLISH BELOW)

SAVE 1000FRYD!

We have received a request from the municipality, stating that we can no longer play loud music at concerts - this means in practice that we can no longer play livemusic, which is the bedrock of our existence.

The neighboring apartments have bad sound isolation, which is something we warned about, when they constructed it.

Forsalgsbillet: Tryk her!

Magrudergrind continue to develop their punishing hybrid of grindcore, powerviolence and hardcore punk in 2016 with their first full-length release on Relapse Records last year. Formed in 2002 in Washington, DC and currently based in Brooklyn, NY, the young trio dropped their self-released first record as delinquent teenagers. Magrudergrind’s scathing, visceral lyrical content against social injustice and betrayals both personal and political continues to mirror the unit’s relentlessly abrasive and crushing sonic aesthetic. Owing much to the close-knit global DIY punk community, since its inception the band has toured Europe, Asia, North and South America with the likes of Cannibal Corpse, Napalm Death, Misery Index, and countless others.

In 2007, Magrudergrind released their first full length, Rehashed, on Six Weeks Records, followed by their eponymous sophomore full-length in 2009 on Willowtip Records, engineered by Kurt Ballou (Converge, High on Fire, Torche) and mastered by Scott Hull (Pig Destroyer, Phobia). The acclaimed self-titled release sent them into 2010 with notable appearances at Hellfest, Maryland Deathfest and Obscene Extreme Festival among others.TheCrusher EP followed in 2010, released on Scion Audio/Visual and later reissued by To Live A Lie, Bones Brigade and RSR. In 2012, the band was approached by HBO approached for a brief cameo on the show Veep featuring Julia Louis-Dreyfus, appearing in the show’s fifth episode.

Primitive Man is trio that are currently making some of the most harrowing, gut wrenchingly heavy sludge under the sun. Their debut LP ‘Scorn’ has recently been reissued through Relapse Records, and it’s an imposing monolith of a record that feels like watching yourself get beaten up in a dark alley in stomach churning slow motion. The band’s thick, oppressive sound just seems to pull you in deeper and deeper, like an ominous aural black hole that slowly envelopes you. Combined with vocalist and guitarist Ethan Lee McCarthy’s distinctive guttural roar, this makes for a truly terrifying proposition indeed.

Primitive Man unleashed a filthy, malignant maelstrom of blackened doom. Thrillingly misanthropic in their approach, Primitive Man drench their post-apocalyptic vision of the world in waves of feedback, pummeling guitars and hopelessly frightening vocals. If a bright end of winter is what you’re in need of, run as fast as you can from Primitive Man, this is grade-a hateful, soul-annihilating music of the darkest order. hymns of hatred, disease and sonic deviance.
