BEVAR 1000FRYD! (ENGLISH BELOW)

SAVE 1000FRYD!

We have received a request from the municipality, stating that we can no longer play loud music at concerts - this means in practice that we can no longer play livemusic, which is the bedrock of our existence.

The neighboring apartments have bad sound isolation, which is something we warned about, when they constructed it.

There is a signature campaign here - https://www.skrivunder.net/bevar_1000fryd

Moments

Throughout the past 40 years, many people have had personal and shared experiences at 1000fryd!

We want to save 1000fryd, because it is full of history and it contributes greatly to the cultural life in Aalborg.

Forsalgsbillet: Tryk her!

Wooden Indian Burial Ground from the USA is heavy dirty garage rock'n'roll with a psych twist and fuzz pedals! With the influence from grey skies & early sci-fi novels, Portland’s Wooden Idian Burial Ground brings a fuzzy, sweaty, reverb drenched beast to the dinner table. Come dancing.

Wooden Indian Burial Ground feed the electric insects that plaster your cracking windshield after a wine soaked road trip. You don't have enough wiper fluid and your blades are bad, and the guitar strings keep breaking...somehow you can still make out the asphalt and a few notes well enough to get to the nearest gas station and clean the wrong from your exhausted brain…and you almost feel human again. But by the time you get a few more miles down the highway you're somewhat blind and half deaf from driving through the drum clouds and the bass storm with your head out some weird excuse for a window...and you can only hear one phrase on repeat from the humming of the road - "This song is about surfing on Acid, with your dad. Thanks dudes."

Since 2012 Wooden Indian Burial Ground has released one LP, two Ep's and has a new LP is on the way early 2016. They've played hundreds of shows including some killer national festivals like CMJ, Treefort, Nelsonville Music Fest, and PDX POP NOW.

Noisy experimental shoegazing stands tall on the psych scene these days, and Deadpan Interference is for sure one the best danish acts within the genre.

Expect deconstructed guitars, thundering, syncopated drums and fragile, floating vocals combined with aggression and simplicity beautifully combining creativity and destruction, when Deadpan Interference takes the stage.

Deadpan Interference inhabits the sound of slowly crawling out of the darkness. The four members Astrid Samuelsen, Martin Funder, Sofie Westh and Max Cosnier came together as the final four piece group in 2013, and now, a year later, their sound resembles the feeling of being completely stagnant, even though everything is moving rapidly. It is the sense of stretching for something, which proves very difficult to reach. The songs place them as one of the most promising new Copenhagen acts in the genre. The band recently released their self-titled debut EP on 12" vinyl via Drone Recordings.
