BEVAR 1000FRYD! (ENGLISH BELOW)

SAVE 1000FRYD!

We have received a request from the municipality, stating that we can no longer play loud music at concerts - this means in practice that we can no longer play livemusic, which is the bedrock of our existence.

The neighboring apartments have bad sound isolation, which is something we warned about, when they constructed it.

PALE HONEY

Pale Honey is Tuva Lodmark (guitar, vocals) and Nelly Daltrey (drums). They appear as a trio when playing live, backed up by the bands producer Anders Lagerfors on bass/guitar/synth.

With just an EP consisting of three songs, the band headed out on a European Tour and created quite a buzz in respectable music magazines (example). In May 2015, the self-titled debut Pale Honey came out and the band's future was set to be golden. More shows in Europe awaited, including sold out shows in the UK as well as in Sweden and while the band has been peeking out from the studio from time to time lately, they’ve only teased with what explosion is to come.

PINK MILK

Hailing from Sweden, Pink Milk is a rock band influenced by 80s music and gothic minimalism of 90s acts like The Jesus and Mary Chain, Cocteau Twins and Cranes – as well as cult movies like Twin Peaks, True Romance and contemporary art. The band’s gloomy, glittering sound casts a languid, moody spell that invites addiction and demands repeated listens.

Their latest release, ”Drömmens skepp” is a torturously dark take on a traditional Swedish folk song. Originally commissioned by Swedish Television, Pink Milk’s natural first interpretation was deemed too unhinged, too subversive for primetime consumption and thus was banished to the realm of the underground before the band decided to release it themselves – then being picked up by music magazines and Swedish national radio who put the song in a Twin Peaks-special.

The music video for ”Drömmens skepp” using live footage from their recent Swedish tour with the band Pascal.

”A devilish congregation of swirling shoegaze guitars, beats that shake the foundation of time, howling, windswept drones, and vocals laced with barbed wire” – The Line Of Best Fit

”A fluid, loose, almost drunken drawl that you can imagine playing in the background of one of those misty bar scenes in Twin Peaks” – Wonderland

”Too loud, to the point of no return, burrowed beneath the sheer incessant noise is an almighty, fucked-up pop song” - DIY

CANVAS.
