BEVAR 1000FRYD! (ENGLISH BELOW)

SAVE 1000FRYD!

We have received a request from the municipality, stating that we can no longer play loud music at concerts - this means in practice that we can no longer play livemusic, which is the bedrock of our existence.

The neighboring apartments have bad sound isolation, which is something we warned about, when they constructed it.

There is a signature campaign here - https://www.skrivunder.net/bevar_1000fryd

Throughout the past 40 years, many people have had personal and shared experiences at 1000fryd!

Belgium based Turpentine Valley reduces its post-metal to purity, ‘etching’ it to the soul of anyone open to it. No words, massive sound. Hitting it hard. Layered guitars. Growling bass. Allowing music to tell its story: slow, intense, hard and relentless. Although its members already play together for more than half a lifetime, Turpentine Valley still could be called a rather young band, only seeing the light in 2016. Releasing its debut album ‘Etch’ through Dunk!records on November 1st 2019 was the next step in spreading its instrumental post-metal ever since. Three songs from that record (‘Vergeten’, ‘Trauma’ and ‘Abrupt’) can be heard in the soundtrack of the Netflix crime drama 'The Twelve'. On 25 February 2022, Dunk!Records releases successor 'ALDER' on 12” vinyl in Europe, A Thousand Arms Records releases the album in the US on vinyl and cd, and Ripcord Records takes care of the UK-release of this album on tape. On this new album, the band explores the dark boundaries of the instrumental post-metal genre even more explicitly, without compromising on melody and intensity.

Turpentine Valley is:
Kristof Balduyck – guitars
Thomas Maes – bass
Roel Berlaen – drums

SAGOR SOM LEDER MOT SLUTET

Sagor Som Leder Mot Slutet is a Swedish instrumental postrock/metal band mixing darker and heavier themes with gentleness and fragility.
The band has released two albums - the self titled debut album in 2016 and the follow-up album “II”, produced with Magnus Lindberg (Cult of Luna) released 2018. Both albums were really well received, both on record and live, generating a growing fan base as well as more shows in the Nordic countries.
In 2020 Sagor Som Leder Mot Slutet did something different and recorded an eerie soundtrack for the Swedish short horror movie “Iris”.
A European tour for the third album was planned and (hopefully) postponed to 2022. This in-between time has given the band enough time and energy to record new songs for the third album - and a sample of this will be performed live at House of Noise Festival!
