Aalborgs legendariske aktivitetshus og spillested, 1000Fryd, er lukningstruet og har brug for din hjælp! Som følge af en naboklage skal huset gennemgå en massiv renovering, der løber op i flere millioner, og de penge har 1000Fryd ikke.

Stedet har de sidste 40 år haft uvurderlig betydning for Aalborg som by og for alverdens musikalske undergrundsscener både nationalt og internationalt. Det hele er båret oppe af de hundredvis af frivillige ildsjæle, der igennem årene har engageret sig i og udviklet sig med stedet.

1000Fryd er vigtigere end nogensinde og vil gøre alt for at overleve, men vi har brug for din støtte.

Vi modtager ethvert bidrag med kyshånd og er evigt taknemmelige for jeres hjælp.

Aalborg's legendary activity house and venue, 1000Fryd, is in danger of closing and needs your help! As a result of a neighbor's complaint, the house must undergo a massive renovation that costs several million, and 1000Fryd does not have that money.

For the past 40 years, the place has been of inestimable importance for Aalborg as a city and for many different underground music scenes, both nationally and internationally. All made possible by the hundreds of passionate volunteers who over the years have engaged in and developed with the place.

1000Fryd is more important than ever and will do everything to survive, but we need your support.

We welcome any contribution and are eternally grateful for your help.

S skete det endelig. Legendariske J. Church fra San Francisco i det store Amerika rammer 1000Fryds scenegulv. J. church er en unik blanding af den sprdeste punk, anarcho-situationistisk pop-punk, rockende guitarmusik, et par akustiske indslag og lyden af et enkelt piano her og der.Lyttevenlig, danseagtig og rigtig, rigtig dejlig musik. Med ord er jo s fattige, se hans hjemmeside, rock ud i lndestolen og kom her ned og se showet!!..

J. Church har udgivet et utal af albums og har tourneret verden tynd i de sidste evigheder. S snyd ikke dig selv for en p opleveren...

The je ne sais quoi fra det svenske er et af de nyeste skud p fra Det legendariske Coalition Records.

TJNSQ bestr af to unge drenge, en kvinde og en halvgammel mand som sammen forsger at frigre den musik, som gemmer sig i deres flles underbevidsthed. Musik som reflekterer nattens asfalterede gader, festens slidte dansegulv, hvor hverdagens grhed forsvinder og kanaliserer undergrundsbanens brlende stj ud i vores regange. Eller med andre ord en sund blanding punkrock, blues og funk. Melodis, irefaldende pop kombinerede med hypnotisk stjende kaos.

Which leaves San Franciscans J Church (soon to be touring with J Mascis and J Pac - not), with the enviable task of completing the noise perfectionists' equation. We've had the short, screechy bit; we've had the bleaker, twisted element; now all we require is a slab of grinning, spinning, cheesy listening. Which J Church provide in abundance.

Another gut-thumping three-piece, the Churchies' cheeriness revolves around the portly singing guitarist Lance Hahn, who is laughing so much after two songs he can barely stand up, let alone sing. 'Tis he who has garnered the somewhat unfortunate description of 'A Filipino Black Francis'. And 'tis he who mashes his 'axe' through the punky drama that is new single Lama Temple and the spine-scrapingly brilliant Yellow, Blue And Green, which takes 'ardcore melodies into the realm of magnificently bruised beauty. And stuff.

They're warm, they're cuddly, they smile far too often for their own credibility, and yet they still manage to mangle some monstrously fine three-and-a-half minute fuck ups. "J Church are a good band!" yells one particularly enthusiastic continental punter come the close, and they aren't wrong. How do you Scooby D?..."

"...These Swedes are the prefect Camp version of The International Noise Conspiracy. Were TINC wants to change the world; these guys are only about taking over the dance floor. Punkrock has lent a hand to funk as it jumped on board the party train. Reminding me of Janes Addiction, but having some great ideas of their own. Its their debut full length, but it seems they have a prefect idea stuck in their heads of their sound. Weird and hypnotic, with some noisy chaos, but still catchy like your average disposable pop song. The sober layout of the booklet and cover are in contrast with the adventurous music. All in all it gave me the impression of big city music. Think about being in a penthouse in some major city around the world. 100 metres or more above street level. You see people walking around, cars driving, neon lights going on and off, and a lot of other movements. Imagine it has been put to music. Might give you a sense of restlessness, but youre above it all. Comfortable on a couch with a cup of coffee. Makes you curious about the bands sound? Yeah, well it should! Martijn Welzen .."
