Aalborgs legendariske aktivitetshus og spillested, 1000Fryd, er lukningstruet og har brug for din hjælp! Som følge af en naboklage skal huset gennemgå en massiv renovering, der løber op i flere millioner, og de penge har 1000Fryd ikke.
Stedet har de sidste 40 år haft uvurderlig betydning for Aalborg som by og for alverdens musikalske undergrundsscener både nationalt og internationalt. Det hele er båret oppe af de hundredvis af frivillige ildsjæle, der igennem årene har engageret sig i og udviklet sig med stedet.
1000Fryd er vigtigere end nogensinde og vil gøre alt for at overleve, men vi har brug for din støtte.

Aalborg's legendary activity house and venue, 1000Fryd, is in danger of closing and needs your help! As a result of a neighbor's complaint, the house must undergo a massive renovation that costs several million, and 1000Fryd does not have that money.
For the past 40 years, the place has been of inestimable importance for Aalborg as a city and for many different underground music scenes, both nationally and internationally. All made possible by the hundreds of passionate volunteers who over the years have engaged in and developed with the place.
1000Fryd is more important than ever and will do everything to survive, but we need your support.

We want to save 1000fryd, because it is full of history and it contributes greatly to the cultural life in Aalborg.
Taiwanesisk fdte David Wangs aka Mochipets fader er raketingenir, moren arbejder i en brnehave og selv hnger han ud med et klubslng fra alle verdenshjrner. blet falder i dette tilflde ikke langt fra stammen, nr Wang som Mochipet giver frit spil til det indre, elektroniske legebarn.
Wangs egne produktioner bruger ls af minimale beats, bld breakcore og asiatisk legende melodier. Men modsat de utallige tegn i det taiwanesiske alfabet, er der ikke mange effekter under klerhjelmen. Oftest er de hrt fr og i sidste ende lyder Mochipet som en lirekassemand, der parafraserer stilforvirret og ikke skaber meget p egen hnd. Til gengld skorter det ikke p legesyge, hvor han sjldent mister grebet om energien. Men 'disco', det er det ikke. Du fr electro, breakcore og techno la Kid 606 med en snert af asiatiske luner for hele indskuddet.
CopyFlex er en god sund blanding af rave, dancehall, punk techno, eurocrunk, bmore, baile funk, electro, glitch, breaks, hiphop og mashupz. Han har huseret det kbenhavnske undergrundsmilj for hrdt og nu rammes 1000Fryd sammen med amerikanske Mochipet!

Born in Taiwan R.O.C. to rocket scientist father and kindergarten teacher mother, David Wang (a.k.a. Mochipet) did not get his start in music until the age of 15, when the urge of metal guitar overtook him in Livermore California. Rocking through a set of 2 in speakers and a cheap stiletto six-string, David Wang conjured up the forces which began his music adventure.
Through out his career Mochipet has had his music released on record labels such as: Bpitchcontrol (Berlin), Tigerbeat6/ViolentTurd (Oakland), Component (CT), ExNihilo (Belgium), Detroit Underground, Voxxx (Chemnitz), Deathsucker (UK), Intellectos (Boston), Mattress (Los Angeles), Schematic, Merck (Miami), Reconfiguration (China), and his own Daly City Records (Daly City).
Mochipet has toured throughout America and Europe in a wide variety of underground and main stage venues such as: WMF (Berlin), Paradiso (Amsterdam), Golden Pudel Klub (Hamburg), The Wormweb, Gilman (Berkley), The Smell (Los Angeles), Equalizer Festival (Rotterdam), The Echo (Los Angeles), Club6 (San Francisco), Rickshaw Stop (San Francisco) 1015 Folsom (San Francisco), Blue Cube (San Francisco), Hemlock (San Francisco) Mighty (San Francisco), Churchills (Miami) Robtospeak Sessions (San Francisco), and Otherworld (Oakland).

He currently helps host an experimental music night called DimSum in the Greater Bay Area.
