Throughout the past 40 years, many people have had personal and shared experiences at 1000fryd!
We want to save 1000fryd, because it is full of history and it contributes greatly to the cultural life in Aalborg.
Chickens Call var sidst p 1000Fryd med hollandske Power is Poison for to r siden.
"... Man, Scandinavian punk and hardcore has been dominating the world lately, and for good reason! It seems there is something in that frozen climate that gives all the punks and rock n roll losers an uncanny knack for taking the perfect parts of different genres and make something completely new with it. This band offers something a bit distinctive with their three song debut, combining a tinge of metal with crude hardcore guitar crunch and throaty that come off something like HELL NO mixed with FUCKED UP and MOTRHEAD. This definitely has a more contemporary feel than most other bands I've been hearing lately from the region, and I think this would appeal to the hardcore crowd as well as the punks. The big stand out for me here is the great lyrics. The title track is one that deals with the disillusionment of the punk scene as it loses significance and becomes packaged conformity. There's also a really intelligent take on the structures of sexual power called "Right to Control". The final song has an optimistic and uplifting attitude about the people finally waking up. I don't believe it for a second, at least not in this country. Good to see a little hope, though. Worth checking out if you come across it."
