Aalborgs legendariske aktivitetshus og spillested, 1000Fryd, er lukningstruet og har brug for din hjælp! Som følge af en naboklage skal huset gennemgå en massiv renovering, der løber op i flere millioner, og de penge har 1000Fryd ikke.

Stedet har de sidste 40 år haft uvurderlig betydning for Aalborg som by og for alverdens musikalske undergrundsscener både nationalt og internationalt. Det hele er båret oppe af de hundredvis af frivillige ildsjæle, der igennem årene har engageret sig i og udviklet sig med stedet.

1000Fryd er vigtigere end nogensinde og vil gøre alt for at overleve, men vi har brug for din støtte.

Vi modtager ethvert bidrag med kyshånd og er evigt taknemmelige for jeres hjælp.

Aalborg's legendary activity house and venue, 1000Fryd, is in danger of closing and needs your help! As a result of a neighbor's complaint, the house must undergo a massive renovation that costs several million, and 1000Fryd does not have that money.

For the past 40 years, the place has been of inestimable importance for Aalborg as a city and for many different underground music scenes, both nationally and internationally. All made possible by the hundreds of passionate volunteers who over the years have engaged in and developed with the place.

1000Fryd is more important than ever and will do everything to survive, but we need your support.

We welcome any contribution and are eternally grateful for your help.

D.O.A er fra Vancouver i Canada og spiller kompromislst hardcore-punk. Bandet har vret omkring siden 1980 og bliver regnet for et af de frste nordamerikanske hardcorebands i familie med Black Flag, Minor Threat, Bad Brains og Dead Kennedys. P denne tour er der med i bagagen deres nyeste album, som meget passende hedder D.O.A. will release their new album, "This Machine Kills Fascists". Med 30 r p bagen lover vi smk for skillingerne!

War of Destruction fra rhus var det fremmeste danske hardcoreband i 80erne, og blev gendannet i 2003 efter en pause p sm 14-15 r. Bandet var forbi 1000Fryd i 88, og s igen for nylig til 1000Fden store fdselsdagsfest i januar. S det er ogs ved at vre p tide de kigger forbi igen:-)... Stilen er hurtig og aggressiv hardcore med brutal vokal. Ikke drligt!

D.O.A. is a hardcore punk band from Vancouver, BC. They are often referred to as the "founders" of hardcore punk, along with Black Flag, Bad Brains, and Minor Threat. Their second album Hardcore '81 was thought by many to have been the first actual reference to the second wave of the American punk sound as hardcore. Singer/guitarist Joey "Shithead" Keithley is the only founding member to have stayed in the band throughout its entire history. However, original bassist Randy Rampage has been active in the band in recent years and has played on two of the band's last three albums, although he is not in the current lineup. D.O.A. has often released music on Jello Biafra's Alternative Tentacles Records, and they have released an album with Jello Biafra titled Last Scream of the Missing Neighbors.

D.O.A. has always maintained an uncompromising anarchist populist political stance. The band is known for its outspoken political opinions and has a history of performing for many causes and benefits. Its slogan is "Talk minus Action equals Zero." The band has been active on many issues, including Anti-racism, anti-globalization, freedom of speech, and the environment.
