Aalborgs legendariske aktivitetshus og spillested, 1000Fryd, er lukningstruet og har brug for din hjælp! Som følge af en naboklage skal huset gennemgå en massiv renovering, der løber op i flere millioner, og de penge har 1000Fryd ikke.

Stedet har de sidste 40 år haft uvurderlig betydning for Aalborg som by og for alverdens musikalske undergrundsscener både nationalt og internationalt. Det hele er båret oppe af de hundredvis af frivillige ildsjæle, der igennem årene har engageret sig i og udviklet sig med stedet.

1000Fryd er vigtigere end nogensinde og vil gøre alt for at overleve, men vi har brug for din støtte.

Vi modtager ethvert bidrag med kyshånd og er evigt taknemmelige for jeres hjælp.

Aalborg's legendary activity house and venue, 1000Fryd, is in danger of closing and needs your help! As a result of a neighbor's complaint, the house must undergo a massive renovation that costs several million, and 1000Fryd does not have that money.

For the past 40 years, the place has been of inestimable importance for Aalborg as a city and for many different underground music scenes, both nationally and internationally. All made possible by the hundreds of passionate volunteers who over the years have engaged in and developed with the place.

1000Fryd is more important than ever and will do everything to survive, but we need your support.

We welcome any contribution and are eternally grateful for your help.

Don't er melodis garagepunkrock med kvindelig vocal fra Seattle i USA. Vi snakker en omgang Gun Club mder The Gits mder The Wipers, intet mindre! Og Don't har skam ogs den original trommeslager fra The Wipers med, s vi snakker kvali-vare her! Eller som der kan siges p engelsk "Dont are a surf-tinged punk group from Seattle featuring members of Napalm Beach and the Wipers and fantastic singer Jenny Dont, whose voice has the same throaty, dark quality as a young, hungry Siouxie Sioux". Sdan!

Nitty Gritty har holdt os hen siden december sidste r, hvor de spillede sammen med Generacion Suicida og The No-Go Girls, men nu er de endelig tilbage!

Nitty Gritty er Aalborgpnk med snert af garagepunk med derbyts p vokalen. Det er pnere end din mor, men strkere og mere maskulint end din far nogensinde bliver. Spark i bollerne, flyvskalle p nsen! S kom hen og hr deres koncert!

Daniel Romano er en omgang folk/country fra Canada, som ikke vil efterlade et je trt! De er i jeblikket ved at lgge Europa for deres fdder og i sidste jeblik har vi formet at f dem forbi 1000Fryd!

Country Music is a study in contrasts. There's glitz and grit, reveling and wallowing, wretchedness and showmanship. Country music's pioneers wore their battered hearts on sequined sleeves. From Bakersfield to Galveston, the legends traded their tragicomic highs and lows for gold records and white Cadillacs. But that was then; the days of Buckaroos, Nudie Suits and various Hanks are over, save for the museum displays. To quote a George Jones title track, "Who's Gonna Fill Their Shoes?"

Enter Daniel Romano, a songwriter who delivers mosey croonin' and hard luck storytelling. While references to marquee names like Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and Merle Haggard are apparent in Romano's music, the obvious influences certainly don't demystify his talent. Romano works with equal parts authenticity and creativity, and his musical world is rich with archetypes and archrivals, wry observations and earnest confessions.
