Aalborgs legendariske aktivitetshus og spillested, 1000Fryd, er lukningstruet og har brug for din hjælp! Som følge af en naboklage skal huset gennemgå en massiv renovering, der løber op i flere millioner, og de penge har 1000Fryd ikke.

Stedet har de sidste 40 år haft uvurderlig betydning for Aalborg som by og for alverdens musikalske undergrundsscener både nationalt og internationalt. Det hele er båret oppe af de hundredvis af frivillige ildsjæle, der igennem årene har engageret sig i og udviklet sig med stedet.

1000Fryd er vigtigere end nogensinde og vil gøre alt for at overleve, men vi har brug for din støtte.

Vi modtager ethvert bidrag med kyshånd og er evigt taknemmelige for jeres hjælp.

Aalborg's legendary activity house and venue, 1000Fryd, is in danger of closing and needs your help! As a result of a neighbor's complaint, the house must undergo a massive renovation that costs several million, and 1000Fryd does not have that money.

For the past 40 years, the place has been of inestimable importance for Aalborg as a city and for many different underground music scenes, both nationally and internationally. All made possible by the hundreds of passionate volunteers who over the years have engaged in and developed with the place.

1000Fryd is more important than ever and will do everything to survive, but we need your support.

The once anti-Nashville based Joe Buck gained notoriety as the guitarist of Th' Legendary Shack Shakers. As Hank III's villainous sideman onstage, the snarling upright bass player became infamously recognizable. Joe Buck Yourself is now a bona fide evil motherfucking, one man band. This unique blend of hellbilly punk rock ain't your grandma's hillbilly music. Joe Buck yourself, motherfuckers!

He might be most famous for playing the bass with Hank Williams III for a good stretch of years but is now rapidly making a career on his own with his one man punkrockcountry band, that has also appeared on such fests like Roadburn, Grindhoven and Eggbangers Ball on his last trek.

Supporting him is mister Tony Bones, playing under the name of Viva Le Vox. Tony made quite a few jaws drop with his extrovert appearance and performance, not shunning the audience but rather getting off stage and among the people, having them participate where he can.

Viva Le Vox is an experimental punk rock roots band from Lake Worth, Florida. The influences are diverse, though the most predominant are early 20th century jazz, 1950s Rock-n-Roll, and 1970s punk rock. The music has been described as a mix between Gogol Bordello and Tom Waits, or Django Reinhardt meets The Clash- either way a gypsy jazz punk rock-n-roll stew no matter which part of the last century you're familiar with.

On the surface The Hooten Hallers appear to be a three-piece loud blues and hillbilly soul band. As with much else in the vast unknowable cosmos this image deceives us. The Hooten Hallers are more likely a lost group of time-traveling extraterrestrials from places unknown to humanity.

Some say they come from a planet where rock n' roll isn't dead, where blues is still played with soul. Others say they're masked reptilian humanoids from deep within the earth. One fact shines through: their powerful live shows and recordings must be witnessed to be believed.
