Two of the most legendary italian zombie horror films of all times!
Come as your favourite zombie character or just as yourself!
<--------->
Zombie Flesh Eaters, also known as Zombie 2, is a 1979 zombie film directed by Lucio Fulci. The film was adapted from an original screenplay by Dardano Sacchetti to serve as a sequel to George A. Romero's Dawn of the Dead. It stars Tisa Farrow, Ian McCulloch and Richard Johnson, and featured a score by frequent Fulci collaborator Fabio Frizzi. Intended as a return to "classic zombie tales" by its writer, Zombie Flesh Eaters was filmed in Italy, with further location shooting in New York and Santa Domingo.
Zombie Holocaust, also known as Zombie 3 and Doctor Butcher, M.D. is a 1980 Italian zombie film directed by Marino Girolami. Following the success of Zombie Flesh Eathersi (1979) and Emanuelle and the Last Cannibals (1977), producer Fabrizio De Angelis came up with the idea of cashing in on both films' subjects at the same time. He reused the basic story of Zombie and added elements of cannibal films to come up with Zombie Holocaust. The film depicted zombies and cannibals clashing on a south-east Asian island. The zombies of this film physically resemble those of Zombi Flesh Eaters but they do not consume flesh. In this film, it is the island native people that hunt, kill, and consume humans.
The Plots:
* Zombie Flesh Eaters
The film tells the story of a Caribbean island cursed by voodoo, whose dead residents rise as zombies to attack the living. A scientist's daughter journeys to the island after her father's boat turns up abandoned in New York City.
*Zombie Holocaust
In New York, body parts are missing in a hospital where Dr. Dreylock teaches anatomy. When one cannibal worker is killed after taking the heart of a corpse, Dr. Dreylock's assistant and anthropologist Lori Ridgeway recognizes the signal of a tribe in the Moluccas Island that worships the god Kito. Dr. Peter Chandler organizes an expedition to Moluccas with his assistant George Harper and invites Lori and the journalist Susan Kelly to travel with him. They meet Doctor Obrero that asks his servant Molotto to guide the group to Kito. Once in the island, they are hunted by hunger cannibals and zombies, and they find a dark secret about the spot.
