Aalborgs legendariske aktivitetshus og spillested, 1000Fryd, er lukningstruet og har brug for din hjælp! Som følge af en naboklage skal huset gennemgå en massiv renovering, der løber op i flere millioner, og de penge har 1000Fryd ikke.

Stedet har de sidste 40 år haft uvurderlig betydning for Aalborg som by og for alverdens musikalske undergrundsscener både nationalt og internationalt. Det hele er båret oppe af de hundredvis af frivillige ildsjæle, der igennem årene har engageret sig i og udviklet sig med stedet.

1000Fryd er vigtigere end nogensinde og vil gøre alt for at overleve, men vi har brug for din støtte.

Vi modtager ethvert bidrag med kyshånd og er evigt taknemmelige for jeres hjælp.

Aalborg's legendary activity house and venue, 1000Fryd, is in danger of closing and needs your help! As a result of a neighbor's complaint, the house must undergo a massive renovation that costs several million, and 1000Fryd does not have that money.

For the past 40 years, the place has been of inestimable importance for Aalborg as a city and for many different underground music scenes, both nationally and internationally. All made possible by the hundreds of passionate volunteers who over the years have engaged in and developed with the place.

1000Fryd is more important than ever and will do everything to survive, but we need your support.

Forsalgsbillet: Tryk her!

Hailing from the Brazilian city of Goiania, Tropicalia-psych-pop act Boogarins will be coming our way to spread some warmth in the cold and dark autoum.

Boogarins are a Brazilian psychedelic rock band formed in 2013. The band was founded by Fernando Almeida and Benke Ferraz. They met and began recording music together in high school. The results: psychedelic pop that owes much to their cultural forefathers Os Mutantes but also The Kinks, early Pink Floyd and other paisley bands of the era. But their songs also have an undeniable youthful exuberance which - along with some serious playing and songwriting chops - adds much to their sound.

The last two years have seen Boogarins on the road continually � they toured internationally for nearly six months behind their debut, playing American and European festivals from Austin Psych Fest to Burgerama to Primavera, and headlining clubs from London to Paris to Barcelona to New York, and performing alongside many great artists around the world. Back home, where most young groups sing in English like the popular American and British indie bands everyone listens to, Boogarins spoke directly to their Brazilian audience � literally and figuratively � with their Portuguese-sung rock and roll rooted in the traditions of Tropicalismo but nurtured in contemporary global music culture.

Aarhus-gruppen Turquoise Sun er en sekstet, der allerede i navnet r�ber en fork�rlighed for det farverige, og s�dan er de ogs� live. Instrumentparken bestod af to gange guitar, bas, trommer, flere analoge keyboards, klarinet og tenorsaxofon, tilsat t�tte, lyse og flotte vokalharmonier fra de to sangere Frederik Linde og Andreas Kristiansen (der ogs� spillede henholdsvis guitar og klarinet/saxofon), og s� st�r den ellers p� psykedelisk, tilbagel�net rock med langstrakte og ret langsomme sange, wah-wah-pedaler og atmosf�riske bl�sersoloer fra Andreas Kristiansen.

Turquoise Sun spiller rock med b�de psykedeliske og elektroniske str�mninger og veksler mellem energiske up-beat sange, laid-back grooves og syrede atmosf�riske udskejelser. Bandet leger med lyden og s�tter alt fra retro-synthesizers og saxofon til djembe og fuzz-guitarer i spil.

Turquoise Sun peger nok tilbage til 70'erne, men flugter ogs� fint med neo-psykedeliske bands som Tame Impala, Animal Collective, The War On Drugs og hjemlige Spids N�genhat.
