Aalborgs legendariske aktivitetshus og spillested, 1000Fryd, er lukningstruet og har brug for din hjælp! Som følge af en naboklage skal huset gennemgå en massiv renovering, der løber op i flere millioner, og de penge har 1000Fryd ikke.

Stedet har de sidste 40 år haft uvurderlig betydning for Aalborg som by og for alverdens musikalske undergrundsscener både nationalt og internationalt. Det hele er båret oppe af de hundredvis af frivillige ildsjæle, der igennem årene har engageret sig i og udviklet sig med stedet.

1000Fryd er vigtigere end nogensinde og vil gøre alt for at overleve, men vi har brug for din støtte.

Aalborg's legendary activity house and venue, 1000Fryd, is in danger of closing and needs your help! As a result of a neighbor's complaint, the house must undergo a massive renovation that costs several million, and 1000Fryd does not have that money.

For the past 40 years, the place has been of inestimable importance for Aalborg as a city and for many different underground music scenes, both nationally and internationally. All made possible by the hundreds of passionate volunteers who over the years have engaged in and developed with the place.

1000Fryd is more important than ever and will do everything to survive, but we need your support.

Gone with the Pope (also known as Kiss the Ring) is a 1976 independent film written, directed and produced by Italian-American crooner-actor Duke Mitchell that was first released in 2010 by Grindhouse Releasing.

Mitchell directs and stars in Gone with the Pope as an ex-con who hatches a plan to kidnap the Pope in exchange for the ransom of "a dollar from every Catholic in the world." The movie has been described as "the holy grail for lovers of B-movies" and "a true gem from the American underground

Gone with the Pope was shot on location in Los Angeles and Palm Springs, California, as well as in Las Vegas, Nevada and Rome, Italy. Duke Mitchell stars as the ring leader "Paul," with Peter Milo as "Peter" and also starring Jim LoBianco and Giorgio Tavolieri.Mitchell was known for his starring role in the film Bela Lugosi Meets a Brooklyn Gorilla and for directing the cult film, The Executioner.

Gone with the Pope was originally shot in 1976, but remained unfinished until 2009. The film negative and unfinished cut work print were discovered in Mitchell's parking garage several years after his death. It has been edited and restored by cult film distributor Grindhouse Releasing. Mitchell was said to have been inspired by Francis Ford Coppola's The Godfather

Gone With the Pope is a '70s-era low-budget exploitation flick about a crew of bumbling Italian gangsters who come up with an ingenious plot to kidnap the pontiff, demanding a ransom of 50 cents from every Catholic around the globe.

The plot, such as it is, involves Paul (Mitchell) being released from prison (crime undisclosed) and immediately being contracted by the mafia to hit seven men. From there he decides to take a cruise with some buddies from prison to Italy. Why are they going to Italy? Why, to kidnap the Pope of course.
