Aalborgs legendariske aktivitetshus og spillested, 1000Fryd, er lukningstruet og har brug for din hjælp! Som følge af en naboklage skal huset gennemgå en massiv renovering, der løber op i flere millioner, og de penge har 1000Fryd ikke.

Stedet har de sidste 40 år haft uvurderlig betydning for Aalborg som by og for alverdens musikalske undergrundsscener både nationalt og internationalt. Det hele er båret oppe af de hundredvis af frivillige ildsjæle, der igennem årene har engageret sig i og udviklet sig med stedet.

1000Fryd er vigtigere end nogensinde og vil gøre alt for at overleve, men vi har brug for din støtte.

Vi modtager ethvert bidrag med kyshånd og er evigt taknemmelige for jeres hjælp.

Aalborg's legendary activity house and venue, 1000Fryd, is in danger of closing and needs your help! As a result of a neighbor's complaint, the house must undergo a massive renovation that costs several million, and 1000Fryd does not have that money.

For the past 40 years, the place has been of inestimable importance for Aalborg as a city and for many different underground music scenes, both nationally and internationally. All made possible by the hundreds of passionate volunteers who over the years have engaged in and developed with the place.

1000Fryd is more important than ever and will do everything to survive, but we need your support.

BOB LOG III

Returning to Aalborg once agan. Still in full body human canonball suit, and still amazing! Finally at 1000Fryd!

Bob Log III (born November 21, 1969) is an American slide guitar one-man band. During performances, he plays old Silvertone archtop guitars, wears a full body human cannonball suit, and a helmet wired to a telephone receiver, which allows him to devote his hands and feet to guitar and drums. The spectacle has been described as a blues punk guitar dance party.

He tours over 150 shows a year in more than 30 countries. Bob Log's version of quick Delta blues is a continuation of the sound that Bob Log and Thermos pioneered in the duo Doo Rag. The major differences are: greater emphasis on guitar showmanship, fingerpicking, and one-man-band-style drumming with his feet. Based in Tucson, Arizona, and Melbourne, Australia, he has made tours of North America, Europe, Japan and Australia, Mexico, and Iceland.

10.000 RUSSOS

10,000 Russos are a formidable force within modern psychedelia; their industrial psych/post-punk has been charming fuzz-heads across the globe with its stomping, shamanic mantras and otherworldly krautrock slant. Following their debut album and recent split with The Oscillation, the Portuguese trio are set to release their huge second LP Distress Distress on April 7 via Fuzz Club Records.

10,000 Russos have once again transcended the boundaries of psychedelia as we know it today; their dark, droning noise is twisted, distorted and pushed to its limit. Distress Distress is so ritualistic and industrial it sees their usual post-punk sound a primal and celestial mix of The Fall, NEU! and Spacemen 3 pushed within an inch of techno territory with its abrasive, metronomic rhythms.

Since their debut self-titled LP, Russos have been touring Europe extensively and acquiring a cult-like following at a whiplash rate - their incredible performance at Liverpool Psych Fest was widely described as a stand-out set by numerous music publications and fuzz fiends-alike. With the entrance of second recordDistress Distress, the band are showing no sign of slowing down either redefining psychedelia with every hiss of feedback.

CLOUDWALK

Cloudwalk er et nystartet shoegaze / dream pop-projekt med base i Aalborg. Med tidligere baggrunde i alternativ folk, grunge og indie samledes kvartettens unge medlemmer sig om noget nyt. Lysten til at prve sig af med nye genrer, som ikke tidligere var blevet udforsket af medlemmerne, skabte fundamentet og navnet Cloudwalk, der kommer af det portugisiske nefelibata; "at sge andre veje." Iden om at kombinere moderne, guitardrevet dream pop med 90'ernes britiske shoegaze prger srligt det stemningsmttede lydbillede, gruppen str for. Hertil lgges en mrkt klingende vokal med referencer til Ian Curtis (Joy Division), Paul Banks (Interpol) og Morrissey.

FABRIKKEN

The wheels have been churning in 1000Fryds practice space. Members from The Hedghogs, The Roosters, Queen Acid, Lillebror, and a norwegian dude, have gotten together to make music for this concert specifically. No one knows what this is, or if it will ever happen again. The only way to find out is to show up.
