Aalborgs legendariske aktivitetshus og spillested, 1000Fryd, er lukningstruet og har brug for din hjælp! Som følge af en naboklage skal huset gennemgå en massiv renovering, der løber op i flere millioner, og de penge har 1000Fryd ikke.
Stedet har de sidste 40 år haft uvurderlig betydning for Aalborg som by og for alverdens musikalske undergrundsscener både nationalt og internationalt. Det hele er båret oppe af de hundredvis af frivillige ildsjæle, der igennem årene har engageret sig i og udviklet sig med stedet.
1000Fryd er vigtigere end nogensinde og vil gøre alt for at overleve, men vi har brug for din støtte.

Aalborg's legendary activity house and venue, 1000Fryd, is in danger of closing and needs your help! As a result of a neighbor's complaint, the house must undergo a massive renovation that costs several million, and 1000Fryd does not have that money.
For the past 40 years, the place has been of inestimable importance for Aalborg as a city and for many different underground music scenes, both nationally and internationally. All made possible by the hundreds of passionate volunteers who over the years have engaged in and developed with the place.
1000Fryd is more important than ever and will do everything to survive, but we need your support.

Throughout the past 40 years, many people have had personal and shared experiences at 1000fryd!
We want to save 1000fryd, because it is full of history and it contributes greatly to the cultural life in Aalborg.
For the past 15 years or so, Jewish-Canadian accordion player/singer-songwriter/novelist Geoff Berner has travelled the world. Hes played in bars, cafes, festivals, and the occasional stadium. Hes performed in 17 countries, on national radio in 7 of them.
All over Canada, Europe, and America, Berner has garnered a sizable, passionate following of odd, bookish people who like to drink. He packs venues in places like Berlin, London, Oslo, Zurich, Seattle, Toronto, Edmonton and his home city of Vancouver.
With a new album, new book and upcoming tours of Canada, continental Europe, the Pacific northwest of the U.S., and Scandinavia, Berner is officially on a roll.
Rae Spoon is an award-winning Canadian musician, songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist and author. They have released eight solo albums spanning folk, indie rock and electronic genres over the past twelve years and have toured across Canada and internationally. Their live shows swing between audience singalongs and large danceable arrangements, which keep them playing everywhere from folk festivals and house concerts to rock concerts and theatres. Rae was the subject and composer of the score for the National Film Boardproduced musical-documentary My Prairie Home, which premiered at Sundance Film Festival in 2014. They have been nominated for two Polaris Prizes, a Lambda Literary Award, a Western Canadian Music Award, a CBC Radio 3 Bucky Award and a MOTHA Transgender Musician of the Year Award.
Sren Bruun
Sren Bruun is a local bluesy sing a song writer from Aalborg. He writes songs about social inequality and the inhumane treatment of refugees, but can also sing a love song if needed. He will bring a couple of friends on stage.
