Svarta havet, antifascist post-hardcore from Turku, Finland. The band’s name translates as the Black Sea. True to their DIY punk roots, and with a sound that alternates between hardcore, antifascist black metal, and post-metal, they forge a unique and engaging intensity – not least at their live shows. The debut album JORD/VATTEN (‘dirt/water’, 2021), is a furious display of scorching poetry and bleak sonic landscapes that explores nature’s timelessness as a contrast to the finitude and hubris of humankind.
Straight from Fryds rehearsal room comes some frickin weird and groovy black metal. SHIMMER opens the show! Also since the capacity at Brolandingerne is super limited we advice to buy a ticket ahead of time.
