Aalborgs legendariske aktivitetshus og spillested, 1000Fryd, er lukningstruet og har brug for din hjælp! Som følge af en naboklage skal huset gennemgå en massiv renovering, der løber op i flere millioner, og de penge har 1000Fryd ikke.

Stedet har de sidste 40 år haft uvurderlig betydning for Aalborg som by og for alverdens musikalske undergrundsscener både nationalt og internationalt. Det hele er båret oppe af de hundredvis af frivillige ildsjæle, der igennem årene har engageret sig i og udviklet sig med stedet.

1000Fryd er vigtigere end nogensinde og vil gøre alt for at overleve, men vi har brug for din støtte.

Aalborg's legendary activity house and venue, 1000Fryd, is in danger of closing and needs your help! As a result of a neighbor's complaint, the house must undergo a massive renovation that costs several million, and 1000Fryd does not have that money.

For the past 40 years, the place has been of inestimable importance for Aalborg as a city and for many different underground music scenes, both nationally and internationally. All made possible by the hundreds of passionate volunteers who over the years have engaged in and developed with the place.

1000Fryd is more important than ever and will do everything to survive, but we need your support.

PHOBOCOSM

Phobocosm was founded in 2008 with the intent of writing the darkest, most uncompromising death metal possible. The founding members agreed on one thing when they formed the band: its sound was going to be a mix between different styles of dark and extreme music, but its roots would have to remain firmly planted in the “dark death metal” style with an old-school approach while incorporating a lot of elements from other styles of music such as doom metal, black metal and ambient.
Phobocosm’s music is comprised of a mix of slow, mid-paced and fast parts with a strong focus on writing the darkest riffs possible in the realm of death metal while never sacrificing the song itself in doing so. The band’s inspiration both musically and lyrically is pure darkness, hopelessness, suffering and knowing that things just won’t be fine.
All of their 3 albums are basically soundtracks to the apocalypse, or at the very least their interpretation of what the apocalypse will sound like. There simply cannot be any light in the band’s music. Having played concerts all over North America in the last few years to support “Deprived” (2014) and “Bringer of Drought” (2016), Phobocosm is now ready to finally take its brand of death metal to European soil in support of “Foreordanied” (2023).

FUOCO FATUO

Fuoco Fatuo was born in 2011, in the middle of the ghastly lakes of Varese, Italy. Starting out as an occult and oppressive death/doom band with an eerie and gloomy atmosphere, in 2014 they released their debut LP “The Viper Slithers In The Ashes Of What Remains”, which was followed by several EPs. Their sophomore LP “Backwater” (2017, Profound Lore Records) is a massive and suffocating funeral doom album, an exploration of the darkest and most desolate spaces through a sickened development of sound, making it like a flood of impenetrable black magma.
The sound evolved and the band grew from three to four members with M.(Guitars, Vocals), G.(Guitars), N.(Bass), D.(Drums). The flowing magma of “Backwater” was buried and devoured all that lied underneath, and this is where Fuoco Fatuo’s “Obsidian Katabasis” latest LP dwells (2021, Profound Lore Records). A deeper and obscure undiscovered dimension. The extreme doom essence absorbs elements of dreadful nature which find cohesion into this record for a rich and thick sound and manifest into a visionary descent that evokes what is primordial.
Fuoco Fatuo played at festivals such as Roadburn Festival, Vienna Metal Meeting, Kill-Town Death Fest, A Sinister Purpose and made European tours with The Ruins of Beverast, Grave Miasma and Dark Buddha Rising.
