BEVAR 1000FRYD! (ENGLISH BELOW)

Vi har fået påbud fra kommunen om, at vi ikke længere må spille højt til koncerter - i praksis vil vi ikke længere kunne spille livemusik, hvilket er grundlaget for vores driftstøtte og eksistens.

Nabobygningen er opført med utilstrækkelig lydisolering, og under byggeriet advarede vi om, at det kunne føre til problemer, og det er nu gået i opfyldelse.

We have received a request from the municipality, stating that we can no longer play loud music at concerts - this means in practice that we can no longer play livemusic, which is the bedrock of our existence.

The neighboring apartments have bad sound isolation, which is something we warned about, when they constructed it.

Throughout the past 40 years, many people have had personal and shared experiences at 1000fryd!

We want to save 1000fryd, because it is full of history and it contributes greatly to the cultural life in Aalborg.

Traditionen tro, så afholder 1000Fryd igen i år "Sommeren er Slut Fest" over tre dage i august!

Denne gang afholdes arrangementet i samarbejde med Kulturfærgen Om/Form og Aalborgs Maritime Oplevelsescenter Springeren.

SOMMEREN ER SLUT - FEST #1

Aqua Nebula Oscillator (f) + Spökraket (dk)

Franske Aqua Nebula Oscillator bevæger sig i grænselandet mellem spacerock og okkult psykedelisk rock inspiret af lige dele parallelle dimensioner, voodoo, ethnic trance, horror og cult film i perioden fra 20'erne til 60'erne.

Det franske band er leveringsdyftige i deres helt egen art mørk, stærkt eksperimenterende 'punk-adelic' spacerock - med stedvise undertoner af stoner. De har spillet Roadburn Festival og Austin Psych Fest, udgivet fire albums, samt EP'er på TEE PEE Records og en split med tyske Kadaver

Aqua Nebula Oscillator er et moderne mix af hawkwind inspireret psykedelisk musik, krautrock, hendrix-agtig guitarføring og apokalyptisk energiudladning.

Eller som de selv siger.. "Aqua Nebula Oscillator's mind-burning, dark and dirty “chaos-sound” is a cauldron full of seething, primitive acid garage punk."

Og på engelsk..."ANO looks and sounds like it was buried in a tomb in the late 60's/70's and has just been dug up and the band’s new album (and Tee Pee Records debut), Third is both totally fantastic, utterly underground and peculiarly timeless! ANO whips up storms of scorching guitar and hypnotic bass grooves over drums that are pounded into submission. Pure punkadelic!!"

Spökraket er kort og godt en smukt sammensætning af krautrock, shoegaze, neo-psychedelia og den minimalistiske del af ’60s garage rock. Med deres egen ord er de en "...sonic experience offering noisy sound-scapes, flipped-out improvisation, meditative drones and explorations of and excursions into the art of repetition. The band challenges the cyber generation and their attention span with tracks that often exceed 10-15 minutes and expand way beyond the threshold and limits of the universally agreed pop hit formula.

Nå ja, og så er hele herligheden jo udgivet på det fantastiske danske label Levitation Records. Så går man ikke helt galt i byen!
