We have received a request from the municipality, stating that we can no longer play loud music at concerts - this means in practice that we can no longer play livemusic, which is the bedrock of our existence.
The neighboring apartments have bad sound isolation, which is something we warned about, when they constructed it.

Throughout the past 40 years, many people have had personal and shared experiences at 1000fryd!
We want to save 1000fryd, because it is full of history and it contributes greatly to the cultural life in Aalborg.
Erwin Wagenhofer helms a probing, penetrating and deeply critical look at the economic foundations of neo-liberalism in the early 21st century. Wagenhofer begins with the surface level reality of global finance - that of banks borrowing and lending money from consumers and corporations -and probes deeper to expose the many layers of the economic trade that lie just hidden from view.
Synopsis:
The film starts by tracking the hypothetical savings of a typical depositor as they move around the global system, showing exploitation as various financial agents try to produce high returns. There are several interviews with investment managers, politicians, economists as well as homeless people and workers.
