BEVAR 1000FRYD! (ENGLISH BELOW)

SAVE 1000FRYD!

We have received a request from the municipality, stating that we can no longer play loud music at concerts - this means in practice that we can no longer play livemusic, which is the bedrock of our existence.

The neighboring apartments have bad sound isolation, which is something we warned about, when they constructed it.

There is a signature campaign here - https://www.skrivunder.net/bevar_1000fryd

** Girls Names (irl) **

Girls Names are a band from Northern Island who have only been together for about five years and they are already making quite a name for themselves with a sort of dated 80s sounding indie music. They're endebted to early '80s post-punk, but they've really made it their own -- snarling, bleak and very compelling.

The band initially came together as a relatively lean two-piece back in the summer of 2010, but over the course of a handful of EPs and three very different albums, they’ve grown in number and ambition. Their album, The New Life, was an unexpected underground hit in early 2013, taking the band around the world and garnering much critical praise, culminating in nominations for both the Northern Irish and Irish Music Prizes.

They have been announced for SXSW in 2016 and will be headlining 1000Fryds 32rd Birthday Party

** Gooms (dk) **

Everything’s possible, seems like a suitable mantra with Danish band Gooms. This is a band full of ideas – and every single one of them gets crammed into their highly inventive, unpredictable weirdo-disco-psych rock songbook.

Gooms are made up of members from Danish indie stalwarts such as Oh No Ono and Figurines. The four musicians have thrown away all rule books. Rather, they focus on having fun with redefining what music can do. So if you’re a fan of either Deerhoof, Animal Collective, Mr. Bungle or Ariel Pink, this group of wonderful goofballs will be right up your alley.

Gooms put out their debut album Beyond Life in 2014, and reportedly it contains 3000 ideas in the course of 12 songs. They played Roskilde Festival and Northern Winter Beat in 2015 and we're more than happy to have them playing our 32nd Birthday Party!

** Decibelles (fr) **

Decibelles is a three-piece indie rock band from Lyon, France. Influenced by post punk, new wave, noise rock and power pop. Singer and guitarist Sabrina Duval, singer and drummer Fanny Bouland, and bassist Emilie D'Ornano formed the band in 2004 as they were in highschool.

Since releasing their first 7" in 2007 things have started to happen for these three women from southern France. In 2011 the band issued their first album, Pedro Joko independantly, without label, which was noticed by the indie punk circle. Ensue a year of shows and touring.

In april 2013, they released a new song « Clouds », which earned them an article in Les Inrocks. This was followed by a split LP with the band EinzWeiDreiVier.

They have shared stages with great band like Screaming Females , See Through Dresses, The Death Set, Bo Ningen, Camilla Sparksss and Schellac.
